The 4th Annual NJ Law Enforcement Paintball Championship: A Huge Success!

Over 120 law enforcement officers supported Garden State C.O.P.S. by participating in the 4th Annual NJ Law Enforcement Paintball Championship. The tournament was held Friday, October 9, 2015 at Top Gun Paintball. There were teams from around the state, including the Champions from Lakewood.

Volunteers from the Salvation Army prepared breakfast and grilled the hot dogs and hamburgers that were part of the fantastic lunch graciously donated by Shop-Rite of Jackson, Baco’s Gourmet Pizza of Freehold and Sorrento’s Subs of Freehold. The food was fabulous and plentiful! NYS Shades donated sunglasses for each officer too. Everyone went home stuffed and sporting cool eyegear too! It was awesome!

Individual players took home trophies for achievements, including most painted player, and teams were awarded trophies for first, second and third place. There wasn’t a player who didn’t laugh and have fun.

Most importantly, members of Garden State C.O.P.S. were there to help and to enjoy the day. We celebrated the chapter’s national recognition as Chapter of the Year for 2015! It was an honor to support this organization and the tremendous work that they do to provide assistance to the families and co-workers of officers killed in the line of duty.
